Whether its s is a car that is New to you, or a fashion trend that comes back around or even an old ideology that gets repackaged under a new name. It can be new to us.
Aladdin A whole new world.
Malachi 3:6 “I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.”

Rock climbing

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
End Beginning, beginning end it is all the same. Mounr the loss while embracing the new.
Sometimes a new chapter and a new season result from a tragedy. That is how we have hope.
1 Samuel 3:11 And the LORD said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.
The Danger
So when you find yourself saying “I wish things would go back to the old” be careful.
Galatians 5:16 So I say, be led by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Guess what, the human heart was created to desire a bit of adventure, of newness and excitement. And we find that in God. When we avoid or reject the new things of God that nature begins to long for and seek excitement in the desires of the flesh.
Your Witness.

Ratatoiie What is new? They want to know what is new?
3. How do we miss it?
Walking into thee New requires Expecting, Accepting and Perceiving.
You can’t perceive what you reject.
You have to know what to look for. Highlights find
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
The Veil of deception
And when it comes to New what we usually want is for God to fix out situation when what he really wants to do in the midst of it is change us.
2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to the Patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will know what the will of God is, His good and perfect will.
If you avoid transformation you will experience petrification (Petrified forest)
Buried ( the man who buried his talent)
Do not be deceived
Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Don’t call a refusal to follow the Leading of the Spirit into the Newness god is creating, “Faithfulness.’; Be willing to ask yourself, what are you being faithful to? God’s Call, onward or your own comfort?
Refusing to embrace the New leads to Mediocrity and Misery.
Check your heart….
Is God a God of Good enough? Complacency or Contentment. If Jesus was a God of good enough He would not have left heavens throne to rescue us.
Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I love the liturgy of this church, the problem with liturgy and tradiditn is that it can become empty through repetition.
