Why Dream?
It is the Calling of every Christian, the Beckoning of every Believer to meditate on that which seems impossible for human strength and wisdom to achieve.
Mathew 18:3 (And Jesus said:) “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Joel 2:28 And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
What causes us to put our dreams in a Box?
Fear of failure: Jeremiah 1:6 “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
Exodus 4:10 Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
Fear of Man: Proverbs 2:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
The Lapse of Time: Genesis 18:11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.
Luke 1:18 Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”
Find Your Vision

Romans 13:14 says Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh
Fuel your Passion
1 Thessalonians 5:19 says Do not quench the Spirit.
Isaiah 42:3 says A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
Romans 12:11 says Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
2 Thessalonians 3:6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.
Forge Your Gift
Proverbs 27:17 says as Iron sharpens Iron so does one person sharpen another.
John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
Fine Tune Your Mission
Psalm 37: 7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
Waiting On God requires Tempering Our Passion with Patience.
Lamentations 3:26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
James 4:1-2 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
Fulfill Your Purpose
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Mathew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Isaiah 55:10-11 says As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the Sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
