Coming out of a Dry Spell
Are you a Christian? Do you know what that means? I want you to stop and think what it really means down deep inside to be a Christian. Not just the pet answer not just the cliché. But what there really is in the heart of a Christian what is really the seed of faith that blooms into Christianity. It is Hope. A hope that goes beyond all recognition. It is the hope that is found only in the resurrection. It is the hope that even after death there can be life. It is the hope that even when there is no way God still does make a way. Now, wait a minute. Did you hear that? Notice the statement. I did not say even when there is no way God can make a way. I said that even when there is no way God does make a way. Why is that important? Because often wishy washy Christians say, well I know God can make a way, I just don’t think he will. But the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is not only that God can bring back to life but that he does! God is a reviver of dreams, God is a Restorer of life, God is a resurrected of the Dead. God is a rebuilder of the destroyed God is a Repairer of the Broken! So as we go into our story from scripture for today I want you to think about that dream of yours that has died. I want you to think about that relationship that is dead and gone, I want you to think about that opportunity that has passed you by. I want you to think about that Goal that is unattainable. I want you to think about that situation or circumstance in your life that seems beyond repair. And let today be the day that God breathes new life into it! And as always God wants you to be part of the process, So I want you I want you to remember these three points, these three instructions of how you can cooperate with God to come out of your dry spell: Come Out, Speak Out, Break Out.
